Dream home Center Volendam

Together with Totaalbouw Volendam (also part of the Tuijps Groep), TuijpsHuysch was able to realize a dream home in the center of Volendam.

Whereas Totaalbouw took care of the structural work and part of the finishing, TuijpsHuysch focused on the finishing. TH placed here the kitchen, bathroom with steam shower cabin, sauna and spa, among other things.

In the kitchen, a beautiful TH Bespoke kitchen was chosen. The cabinetry features real veneer fronts which are beautifully complimented by the Marble-look top. A beautiful Liebherr was installed in the island. During the various conversations, it emerged that the customer wanted a second refrigerator. This refrigerator is positioned in the island so that one can easily access drinks, snacks and other chilled refreshments from the island. The kitchen features a Bosch steam oven, a stainless steel Quooker and a beautiful Novy cooktop with worktop extractor.

In the toilet, extra atmosphere and depth was created by working with a front wall fitted with indirect LED lighting. It uses a warm color light that you can also dim if desired. To give the room light and optical space, it was chosen to keep the long walls light. The front wall and floor were made dark in color. This way you get an extra accent and the mood lighting stands out even more and you have turned the toilet room into a cozy atmosphere-filled space. To maintain the calmness of the space, white tile was chosen on the remaining walls.

In this TH-Wellness bathroom en suite Is the shower room a steam shower which is tiled with a marble-look TH-Extreme tile. This tile, with its very large size of 320x160cm, could not be placed in the shower corner when the walls were already standing. For this reason, the TH Team changed its process. TH’s tilers first tiled the back wall before installing the remaining walls in the bathroom. In addition to this beautiful tile, the TH Team also installed a custom Steam Shower in the bathroom. During the initial discussions with the architect, a steam shower cabin was already considered. We had the power supply for the steam generator installed one floor above the bathroom. This eliminated the need to create a cabinet for the steam generator in the bathroom design, and allowed the space in the large bathroom to be fully utilized. As a result, the TH-Wellness bathroom has become a true designer bathroom.

To make this home a true wellness haven, the TH Team installed a beautiful Sauna and Jacuzzi in addition to the custom Steam Shower. The sauna is located on the top floor and is equipped with a Tylo Sports heater. This heater is remote controlled and can be turned on before you step into the sauna. The Jacuzzi is recessed in the backyard. Due to the use of Wood-look tiles, the inspection hatch can be covered in such a way that it is not reflected in the finish. Finally, a beautiful outdoor shower has also been installed in the backyard. By using outdoor tiles on tile supports, no drain or slope was needed in this floor. In fact, this too was taken into account in the initial discussions with the architect. The water runs through the tiles to the drain in the concrete structure. Here it drains through the appropriate drains.
