A barn house. Modern, rustic & robust! Some keywords that the lady of the house wrote down during the intake interview at our office. But most importantly for this family: a real family home! A place where everyone feels at home. A house with many spaces so that everyone can retreat for a while. All of these desires come together in this modern barn home.

Rolled from our drawing board: modern barn home
A brief summary of this modern barn home? A roof with flat tiles and different gutter heights. This not only creates a playful look, but also creates separation between the living spaces on the second floor. The prominent entrance is created by the installation of a transverse roof with oak accents. Two vertical extensions will be placed at the rear.

Outdoor living has also been given a place in the design. The porch at the rear of the modern barn house is included in the design. For the family, this is like a second living room. And because of the fireplace, it can be enjoyed year-round.

Interior by EVE Architects
Both the architectural and custom interiors were designed by our interior designer. Carefully curated with the family in our own showroom. The highlight in the home? The kitchen! This is a place where they come together. The kitchen is the heart of the home. Other rooms are adjacent to the kitchen, so everyone can also take a break. But thanks to the interior glass doors, it still feels like one space. This modern barn home is a true family home. A place for everyone.
