Modern Garden In The Landscape
Wow, what a view! This exclusive garden is beautifully situated in the Brabant countryside.
The location of the house is, of course, a wonderful starting point. The appearance of the – in itself shallow – lot is made very strong by the characteristic water play of concrete. The clever placement of the terraces allows stunning views from the interior across the long waterline to the landscape beyond.
Concrete gives garden a modern look
The architect-designed house has a nice balance of modern and rustic and blends into the landscape. In the garden, this has continued. Concrete was chosen as the theme. Concrete lintels are visible in the house and the fireplace under the canopy is also of this material. The water play was made using the same process: a fine piece of garden architecture!
Warm materials and attractive plantings
Colorful borders were created around the dining terrace. In the rest of the garden, the planting has been kept sober in design. In response to the thatched roof, the covered patio is made of a natural material: a hardwood deck. This stunning outdoor parquet floor seamlessly borders the large pond.
