Modern landscaping in luxury garden
After staying abroad for several years, the garden turned out to be in serious need of renovation upon our return. The swimming pool, some characteristic trees and some partitions were retained; for the rest, the garden was completely redesigned.
Modern landscaping
The house was designed by the lady of the house several years prior to the garden renovation. An explicit desire was for the landscaping to match the structural architecture. A clear tessellation of tiles, split, planting beds and lawn blends seamlessly with the lines of the house. The side yard was visually closed with a tall hedge and a hardwood gate, making room for a sizable patio. In front of the kitchen windows is now a beautiful pond that gives depth to the garden.
Custom garden design
The garden includes several seating areas. The dining terrace is spacious with a table for eight from TribĂº. Covered, against the house, are a number of upholstered armchairs behind the colonnade. After swimming, it is good sunbathing on the decking by the pool. And somewhere hidden on the side, near a field of Lavender, we find a quiet reading spot on the split.
Appropriate materials
The house is set up in various shades of gray with a finish of coarse stucco. As tiles, 1 x 1 meter elements made of in-situ concrete were chosen here. These high-quality tiles have a smooth finish and luxurious appearance. A nice detail is the edge of the pond: it is made of wide strips of zinc. The roof of the residence also has this same finish.
