Modern villa with strong lines
Country looks combined with modern elements resulted in a stylish villa in Veenendaal. Sleek, spacious, cozy and full of atmosphere. The stuccoed facades with sloping gable end are characteristically designed with the thatched roof. The thatch combined with the dark window frames, among other things, gives the house a rural and contemporary look. The black plinth stone features flush masonry, with the grout forming a single unit with the masonry mortar. Strong lines enhance the experience of this modern villa designed by Schlingmann Architects.
Equitone cladding
The contemporary designed double front door features Equitone cladding. Equitone is a durable material, as thin as glass, as hard as stone, as strong as concrete and as universal as wood… The natural but sleek look of the façade panels give character to the entrance and thus the villa.
Glass sliding wall veranda
A wonderful place to live outside as much as possible, even in the spring and late summer, is the veranda of this beautiful villa. Thanks in part to the sliding glass wall, one sits sheltered and the room warms up wonderfully at the first rays of sunlight. The skylights in the veranda guarantee plenty of natural light. The oak uprights are durable and give the porch and garden a unique look.
Modern and authentic interior
The interior is modern, with authentic aspects and accents. Nostalgia and warmth with the sleekness and freshness of today. The beautiful herringbone parquet floor is timeless and laid in traditional pattern. De Rooy Metaaldesign’s steel pivot doors give the home an open atmospheric character, daylight is distributed throughout the home, with each room benefiting from natural light. An oak Z-staircase from Soetendaal Stairs is mounted on keep trees. The balustrade is part of the staircase, creating a beautiful whole. The steel railing is “the finishing touch” and completes the picture.
Thermal energy
The home is heated by a geothermal heat pump. Geothermal energy, also known as geothermal energy, is a thermal energy, heat from the earth. Energy is obtained by using the temperature difference in the earth’s surface and heat reservoirs located deep within the earth. Heat from the ground is a renewable form of energy and environmentally friendly alternative to burning natural gas and coal.
Provided with design, the clients sought contact with several contractors. After several conversations, HaBé Bouwen in Stijl was chosen.
