Oriental witticism at Alken

The owner of this garden makes regular trips to the East. The ambition was not to create an Oriental garden, but to incorporate a small reference. Wooden decking paths traverse this garden and lead to the lounge terrace and 2 hardwood walls. These two walls aim to make personalization of the garden a reality. The design has been offered to place outdoor art, coming from the east, against these walls.

An existing concrete pond was redesigned to allow a natural filter zone to purify the water. The lounge terrace allows the recreationist to retreat into the garden, tucked behind the pond.

The colorful borders and evergreen structures ensure there is something to do all year round.

Incorporating the swim spa into the design allows for both passive and active recreation in a green pleasant environment.
