Poolhouse in Kontich

“Pool house with garden bar and covered terrace”
This oak pool house with garden bar and covered terrace guarantees a great summer. But this garden construction also offers many wonderful moments of enjoyment in colder periods. The L-shape once again proves the enormous flexibility of Heritage Buildings’ oak garden constructions. All customization is an option. Every oak garden building is tailored to the wishes of the client down to the smallest details.

No restrictions in form and function
Heritage Buildings has hardly any limitations with regard to both design and realization. The same applies to the design and the functionalities that are combined in the oak garden building. In this project, the pool house – including a closed area for the pool techniques – will be equipped with a cozy garden bar and a covered terrace. The side wall in glass blocks the wind, but still provides sufficient natural light under the roof construction. This allows the owners to fully enjoy the outdoors in their beautiful garden even on colder evenings.

Added value for swimming pool area
This oak pool house gives a high added value to the pool area in the garden. The corner shape creates a cozy secluded zone. The entire construction was built with authentic materials. For example, the oak beams with the pin and hole connections form an extremely strong supporting structure. The oak beams give the building its unique cachet. These beams require no maintenance of any kind and guarantee a carefree life for several generations. The oak garden buildings are not harmed by any weather or wind.

Extremely hard oak wood
The carefully selected oak comes from the English countryside. The Sussex region is known for its oak wood with an extreme hardness at the core. The end side of the roof was finished with exterior planking. A round window at the top brings in extra natural light. The side of the covered terrace was suitably finished with a large glass section, divided into squares for an authentic look.

Covered terrace to enjoy
The covered terrace is sufficiently spacious, so that it can easily accommodate a dining table for 8 people. This location is the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor aperitif or a cozy garden party. It is no coincidence that the covered terrace also has a cozy garden bar, of course with bar stools. You don’t have to worry about hunger and thirst at this pool. The adjacent separate room for the pool techniques is accessible through a separate but extremely beautiful oak entrance door.
