Project Laren
Kabaz Architecture designed a modern, sleek house with a “friendly” look at a beautiful location in Laren. The latter was achieved by a thatched roof. In addition, the beautiful view to the rear has been taken into account. Both the kitchen cum dining room and the living room were located at the rear of the villa.
The Louvre panels around the house provide a striking look to the front as well as being very functional: sun protection, privacy and blackout. In addition, they sublimely filter in the light in different rooms.
The Livium louvered panels combined with the white stucco and the beautiful thatched roof are iconic features of this villa. The louver panels are cantilevered, the louvers rotate 180 degrees and all drives are beautifully concealed.
Each louvered panel is precisely measured in the work and made to measure. The louvers in the back panel are specially made of untreated western red cedar.
