Realization modern villa in Veenendaal

Modern, natural and unique, three words that fit this beautiful villa. A special detached house situated in a special residential area, on the border between the municipalities of Veenendaal and Ede, in the nature reserve De Groene Grens. A unique attractive place for living in a rural setting. In cooperation with the clients and Stichts Beheer, HaBé realized this contemporary villa here.

Natural stone slates
The arched roof has natural stone slates. Natural slates have been a perfect covering for roof and facade for centuries. Natural stone slates are beautiful, durable and easy to maintain. Using natural stone slates gives the roof a natural and exclusive look. The entire eaves (overhangs, fascia and gutter) are made of patinated zinc.

Oak
The aluminum window frames, like the exterior garage door, are clad in oak. Oak is strong and durable and has a characteristic, warm appearance. Screens are concealed above the window frames. Solar control glazing was also used in the aluminum facades on the south side. This ensures optimal comfort; thermal insulation in winter and sun protection in summer. Oak wood slats have been installed on the outside for optimal privacy.

Heat pump
The indoor garage is basement and serves as a storage and technical room. Among other things, a heat pump was installed here for sustainable heating and hot water.

Fine interior
The villa is finished to a high standard. The beautiful interior was tastefully tailored by Marloes Faber of Tastvol. The roof is curved, like a cat’s back over the fully exposed oak truss construction.

Glass balustrade
The walkway is finished on the living room side with a glass balustrade, with the glass wedged into the floor edge. This luxurious, modern and secure finish creates a spacious, open atmosphere. On the other side of the walkway, the entrance side, a glass partition is sandwiched between the floor edge and the oak trusses and roof structure, an ideal sound insulation and maximum transparency.

Worked with so-called. “construction team” where contractor worked with all other parties involved from the beginning, e.g. installation company, electrical, climate etc. From the beginning, these parties have been in consultation along with architect and construction supervisor. A beautiful but also very successful formula. HaBe Construction Company was thus not only the executor of the work, but also a partner in overall consultation. Their professionalism and solution orientation was perfect.
