Terrazzo and Vin Rouge in Vreeland

Vreeland. Cozy village for nice people. You can dine “on a star level” at Wilco’s, eat pancakes at Hendrik’s, have a nice bite at Mrs. B.’s. Daalder and get ice cream at KO. You can also live there wonderfully. This is what Aemilia and her husband do together with their 3 children and dog. They recently moved there to another house that needed drastic remodeling. Everything went on the upswing. In the hall, kitchen and the 2 bathrooms, they had Terrazzo tiles laid on the floor. This particular Italian Terrazzo consists of more than 75% marble grains and only organic dyes are used in the cement base. From the colorful and highly varied assortment of more than 70 tiles, Aemilia chose the Rod and the Emmy Lou. Not only because she found them particularly beautiful, but also because the tiles are extremely durable and easy to maintain. Pretty convenient with 3 kids and a dog.
