The municipality of Gemert-Bakel is located in the northeastern Peel. Still in North Brabant, but near the border with Limburg. A region with varied nature, especially lots of forest and heathland. Here is a modern, detached home equipped with several louver systems. By Sunshield.
At the entrance to the house, a slat system was installed with, of course, a cutout for the front door. This system is approximately 75 cm in front of the facade. This created a vestibule between the blinds and the glass facade. The residents here chose the 150-E louver.
To the left of the house is an office building. The front and rear facades of this office are designed slightly smaller than the entrance to the residence, but are similarly shaped. Therefore, the facades of the office also feature louver systems with the 150-E slat.
Slat systems with the 107-E louver were installed for the remaining windows of the residence. A slat that not only falls over each other, but also into each other. Often used in combination with brushes along the sides when daylight darkening is required.
The 150-E is wider than the 107-E, 43 mm to be exact. Indeed, the type number indicates the width. As a result, both slat types have a different view through. This indicates the space between the slats when they are fully open. On the 150-E it is 140 mm, on the 107-E it is 90 mm.
The decision to combine two slat types was motivated primarily by proportions. A wider slat comes out particularly well, with a larger glass area. This is less the case with a smaller window, where a slightly narrower slat is more appropriate.
What binds the louver systems is the finish. All aluminum parts are finished in RAL 7021, black gray. And in a matte sheen and combined with a fine texture. This is a visible and tactile relief which further enhances the exclusive look.
