This swimming ditch is an exceptional project. At the basis of the shape of the swimming pond and the garden were an existing old wall and a large lime tree. The ditch is 50 meters long and flows into a swimming pond of approximately 15 m x 15 m, followed by a swamp section. A minimalist edge finish was chosen. The entire swimming pond was covered with black EPDM rubber foil that Mother Nature covered over the years with a beautiful moss carpet. Since its construction 12 years ago, the owner has never had to do anything about the swimming pond. The water is still just as clear. He therefore calls it “a natural swimming pond pur sang”.
