UPDATE

A fire destroyed the beautiful residential farmhouse, which – wryly – had just been remodeled. The owners asked StudioLIV to give a new look and feel to their villa. They wanted to let go of the past; a new “home” was allowed to emerge, literally and figuratively.

DESIGN

Except for a few details, the villa was given a completely new interpretation. Many unusual materials have been incorporated. An example is the wall of agate stone in the kitchen. StudioLIV placed light behind it, bringing out the colorful agate stones as an art object. The walls are artfully finished with exceptional stucco, and throughout the villa you will find grand sliding doors with tri-level divisions to StudioLIV’s signature design.
