Industrial kitchen in a farmhouse home

The handmade concrete kitchen countertop was poured and sanded on site, creating a style towards the industrial kitchen in the middle of an old farmhouse. A seamless piece of custom work that brings out the wooden support structure, also called a truss. The idea with this kitchen is to unite the old of the farmhouse with the new. The concrete countertop gives a tough look, but has an even surface so it is easy to keep clean. Van Galen custom made the kitchen cabinet to match the concrete gray perfectly. With a built-in coffee maker and steam oven from Miele, this robust kitchen has something for everyone.
