Sleek villa with generous porch

The exterior facades of this sleek villa in Veenendaal are composed of a brick plinth and stucco. By bricklaying the plinth with a thin joint, set back and butt joint-free, the joint is made aesthetically subordinate to the masonry, in part due to shadowing. The joint affects the appearance minimally. This combined with the white stucco, anthracite wood window frames and flat roof tile gives the home a modern and luxurious look.

Natural light
The entire house is basement. A basement provides an enormous amount of extra space for a relatively low investment. It is very nice to have natural light in the basement. This was accomplished through light shafts, also called cuckoos. In addition to optimum light output, these also contribute to good ventilation.

Cozy gas fireplace
By using a bay window on the first floor, a large amount of natural daylight flows into the house. A bay window also provides additional living space and adds character to a room, giving it a more airy feel than a traditional window. The ceiling is suspended and equipped with LED strips and recessed fixtures for LED spotlights. A cozy gas fireplace was installed in the living room by Kusk. She also handled the conversion.

Generous veranda
What could be better than enjoying the sun’s rays outside on a sunny day? French doors take you outside under the generous porch with flat skylight. Here a huge terrace has been realized and outdoor living can be enjoyed both covered and in full sun. The terrace extends all around the house, quite practical.

Bedroom with ensuite bathroom
An open bathroom that transforms your bedroom into a personal spa environment? It can be done. The master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is realized on the first floor. Two spaces in one that match perfectly and create an environment where you can refresh, rest and get ready for the day. The bedroom also features a spacious walk-in closet with mirrored wall.

Steel pitch stairs
The interior doors have concealed hinges and magnetic locks. These are fully integrated into the window frames and doors and provide a sleek look. The steel pivot doors with four panes of glass were provided by De Rooy Metaaldesign. A steel spiral staircase leads to the second floor. Holonite® stair treads give the stairs a unique look. A wonderful addition to this is the glass balustrade.
